Located in the town of Yabuki, Nishi-Shirakawa County, Fukushima Prefecture, Okiyokichi Hondo, which has the appearance of an old house, was founded in 1865. Gakki Masamune, which has been brewed since its inception, was originally a very popular local brand, but in recent years it has evolved even further. Honjozo has a juicy, satisfying flavor that overturns the image of traditional honjozo, and has the zesty, fresh and gorgeous taste of a freshly brewed sake. The junmai-shu has a sweetness on the palate with a clear, light finish that doesn't overpower the sweetness. They all have a taste that never gets old and can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes.
